IED Reflection (about me)
I’m Montellia and I’m a ninth grader and I took Mr. Taylors engineering class. I chose to stay in this class because it was really interesting to me. Engineering class is interesting because it’s something new to me. This class is my favorite class. To me the class is really fun. Even when we are doing writing assignments I still find this class interesting. I liked the class because it was kind of like an art class because we had to create things like the cube project. I like this class also, because it was a bit of a challenge at times. This class challenged me to think when we had to have correct measurements or calculations or something like that. I also, like when we use the technology to create different things. We had different programs we used that were really interesting. I especially enjoyed the Google Sketchup program. What I really liked about the Google Sketchup program is when we made the houses. That project was really fun and creative. When I first learned how to use it, it was a big challenge for me because I never used it before so it was kind of hard to use. But, when I got used to the program it became a lot easier, as expected. I made a house on the program with a yard and a pool. I plan on continuing to the next level of this class. Hopefully I will like that class as much as I liked this class. I enjoyed this engineering class and can’t wait to progress to the next level.
